Eagles welcome two new players to the Nest.

The Whittlesea Football Club are happy to announce the signings of renowned forward Paul Harrison and key backman Dale Saddington to the Eagles ranks.

Paul Harrison and Dale Saddington will add much need depth to the Eagles in 2013.

Harrison comes to the Eagles from Bundoora where he was a strong focal point for the Bulls, winning multiple goalkicking awards, a best and fairest and premiership with the powerful NFL club.  ‘Harro’ will be a huge inclusion to the Eagles forward line beside Andrew “Spider” Fairchild who has been the only true forward for the club in the past couple of years.

Saddington comes to the Eagles after a stint in the country with Violet Town in the Kyabram league. After winning the premiership as captain with Violet Town in 2012, Dale comes back closer to home where he will be sure to add a new element to the Eagles line-up.

On behalf of everyone at the Eagles, the Nest would like to welcome Paul and Dale to Whittlesea and look forward to a big 2013 from the entire playing list at the Showgrounds.

  1. Out of adversity comes opportunity! With these new guys and some juniors coming through the future looks promising. Have a great “off-season” and come out fighting in 2013!
