Eagles utility Nick Snowdon is likely to miss the rest of the season after finally succumbing to stress fractures in his back yesterday against Macleod.
The midfielder was playing through the pain for the past month, but found it impossible to continue the second half in the sticky conditions at De Winton Park.

The Whittlesea Football Club were separated last night as they pitted themselves against each other in CONQUEST. A trivia night with a twist and a few beers saw Brad Dean give a rendition of Cher’s ‘Turn Back Time’, Scotty McAuliffe took a speccy on the presenter and Joshy Pannell bought something in the auction without any money in his pocket.
The netball girls won in a contentious decision and a few tables including the ‘Eagle Fossils’ who didn’t quite have the goods to impress the presenter weren’t happy with the result.
But a good night was had by everyone and we look forward to the next social function at the Nest.
